Highrise is the most vertical area in this map guide. Community mapping places it in the northern part of Fragment and describes interconnected tower or interior routes. Archived sources use names such as Zephyr and Gale, but exact structures, checkpoints, and trials must be checked in the current client.
Approach from Fragment
Learn the Fragment boundary and one safe approach before climbing. At ground level, identify the vertical cluster and a route back. Save a checkpoint where ordinary streets or low roofs meet the Highrise ascent.
Do not begin with a community rooftop shortcut. The ordinary approach reveals entrances, recovery surfaces, and the direction back when a gear line fails.
Divide the climb into checkpoints
Choose visible, reachable stages rather than treating the top as one jump:
- Ground or low-roof entry.
- A stable mid-level platform or interior.
- A high roof with a safe recovery surface below.
- The final approach to the intended tower, trial, or landmark.
- A planned descent.
At each stage, turn around and learn the reverse route. A successful ascent without a safe descent is incomplete.
Community landmark leads
Zephyr
Role: Tower name used in archived Highrise descriptions.
Status: Verify the current label, entrance, and route.
Connected interiors
Role: Community-described vertical and horizontal links.
Status: Test both directions; doors or geometry may change.
Gale trial
Role: Archived activity reference associated with Highrise.
Status: Confirm current existence, conditions, and marker before routing.
These cards are navigation leads, not a guarantee that an archived version remains intact.
Prepare movement before height
Practice the wall, jump, landing, or gear interaction on a lower equivalent surface. Confirm the current ability unlock and control preset. At height, a missed setup creates a long reset and makes diagnosis harder.
For every risky transition, identify the intended landing, a lower recovery landing, and the ground reset. Aim the camera early. Avoid adding a new technique at the same time as a new route.
Use gear as an option, not a dependency
Grappler and Mag Rail routes may offer access or speed, but branch effects and surface interactions are version-sensitive. Learn the base activation in a safe area, then test one Highrise segment.
Document an ordinary route alongside the gear line. If the item is on cooldown, unequipped, changed, or unavailable to another player, the guide still needs a usable approach.
Handle interiors
Record every entrance with an exterior landmark and every exit with its resulting height. A lift, stair, or interior corridor can skip a difficult wall but may be hard to find from above.
Run the connection down as well as up. If an update closes it, mark the route version-specific and retest nearby access rather than inventing an unchanged passage.
Route a Highrise activity
Read the live activity marker and conditions. For a time trial, make a complete legal run and learn checkpoint order before testing tower shortcuts. For a challenge, verify the named ability and prerequisite. For exploration, decide whether reaching the top or discovering connections is the real goal.
Archived medal targets and rank requirements are not reliable enough to state as current. The Trials hub explains how to capture live requirements.
Descend safely
Plan descent before the final climb. Use known lower roofs, controlled drops, or an ordinary interior. Do not rely on a last-second Grappler target you have never tested.
If the current build provides impact-management actions, verify their live input and practice from low height. Highrise is not the place to discover that a legacy landing threshold changed.
Create a Highrise route card
Store the Fragment entry, low checkpoint, mid checkpoint, high checkpoint, target, descent, required abilities or gear, recovery surfaces, and check date. Mark community landmark names separately from live-confirmed labels.
This checkpoint format works for climbing, trials, and deliveries and fits on mobile without a wide coordinate table.
