PARKOUR Reborn Platinum Medals

Earn PARKOUR Reborn platinum medals through live target checks, segment practice, consistency, legal route testing, and version-aware video review.

Platinum medals are consistency tests, not just invitations to add more advanced tech. Community guides report that some platinum targets become visible only after earning gold. Confirm that behavior and the exact time on the current trial panel; early-alpha targets and courses can change.

Expose and record the live target

Complete the trial legally and earn the visible prerequisite medal. Reopen the panel and capture the platinum target, trial name, date, course state, and any gear conditions. If platinum remains hidden, do not copy a number from an archive and present it as current.

Keep the screenshot with the route note. A time without its trial and date cannot be audited after an update.

Build a completion ladder

Use four stages:

  1. Complete every checkpoint.
  2. Earn a stable lower medal with a conservative route.
  3. Identify the gap between typical clean runs and the current platinum target.
  4. Remove the gap one segment at a time.

This prevents a player from practicing an advanced opening while still misunderstanding a later checkpoint.

Find the real time loss

Compare several clean runs, not only the personal best. Split the course at landmarks and record typical segment outcomes. The slowest-looking animation may not be the largest loss; a poor landing can cost more across the next two checkpoints.

Route loss

The chosen path is longer or poorly aligned. Test an alternative between the same split markers.

Execution loss

The route is sound but an input is inconsistent. Isolate the action on safe geometry.

Recovery loss

A small mistake becomes a large reset. Add a landing or line that preserves the attempt.

Performance loss

Frame or network instability changes timing. Stabilize settings before rebuilding technique.

Prefer repeatable savings

A shortcut that saves a second half the time may produce worse medal odds than two small improvements that work nearly every run. Track completion rate and typical time.

Use the conservative route for early segments if it keeps the attempt alive. Reserve high-variance tech for the segment where the target gap actually requires it.

Verify gear and checkpoint legality

Read the current activity conditions. If gear is allowed, time activation and recovery as part of the segment. Confirm the route passes each checkpoint, especially when a Grappler or Mag Rail line approaches from an unusual angle.

Keep a gearless or simpler route recorded. A balance change can remove the advantage without changing the course.

Study a visual run

Community platinum-trial video published in 2025. Use it to study approaches and exits, then verify the current course, target, abilities, and gear.

Watch one segment at reduced speed. Identify the setup before the highlighted technique. Copy the route logic, not an unexplained button rhythm.

Structure an attempt session

Warm up the hardest transition for several minutes. Run one conservative completion. Then make a small block of serious attempts. If the same failure repeats, stop full runs and drill it. Take a break when inputs become less precise.

Do not change controls, graphics, route, and gear branch during the same attempt block. Stable conditions make time comparisons meaningful.

Handle an update

After a game update, reopen the trial panel, confirm the target, and make a clean completion. Test base abilities before advanced tech. If the target or course changed, archive the old route with its date.

The public update timestamp alone does not identify the new platinum value. Only the live panel or a specific creator announcement can support it.

Know when the route is ready

A route is platinum-ready when every checkpoint is understood, typical clean time is near the live target, the hardest segment succeeds often enough, and the finish does not rely on an untested shortcut. At that point, attempts improve execution rather than reveal missing route knowledge.

Use time-trial routes to rebuild any unclear segment and momentum and combos to evaluate whether a technique improves the full line.
